Shared Prayer

God of all comfort I praise You, Almighty God, for Your tender care over hearts that are hurting. Psalm 147 tells me that You heal the broken in heart, and that You bind up their wounds, and I hold onto both of those truths for the pain I still carry. You are El Shaddai, God Almighty, strong enough to hold the stars in place and gentle enough to touch a heart that feels crushed. I bring You the grief, the disappointment, and the questions I have not been able to put into words. Heal me where I have been broken, and bind up the places that still ache. Teach me to walk in Your will and not run from the work You are doing in me. Your word says I am loved with a love that cannot be shaken, and for it is written that nothing can separate me from that love in Christ Jesus. If God be for me, who can be against me. So I refuse despair and I set my hope on the future You have prepared. Thank You for hearing me, and thank You for the healing You have already begun in Jesus name. Blessed be the name of the Lord, forevermore. Amen.
