Shared Prayer

Dear heavenly Father Your Word says we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved. We confess that our hope is not in our goodness, but in Your grace that receives the weak and forgives the guilty. For the believer weighed down by shame, by repeated failure, or by the fear of being rejected, lift their eyes to Christ, the author and finisher of our faith. Keep us from trusting in works, and teach us to rest in what Jesus has done. Let faith rise again where doubt has spoken loudly, and let repentance be real and clean. Thank You for the grace that saves, the grace that keeps, and the grace that makes us stand. Thank You that in Christ You have said, lo, I am with you always, and You will not let us go. Your name be glorified O Lord. Amen.
