Shared Prayer

Holy Father, who hears and answers prayers I praise You, my Shepherd, for You lead me with wisdom I could never produce on my own. Your word says that Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path, so I ask You now for guidance that I can actually walk in. I am asking for real clarity, not a vague feeling, but light for the next step and the timing of it. I do not want to run ahead of You, and I do not want to sit still when You are telling me to move. Show me Your will for my future, and give me a willing heart to obey what You show me. Where I feel unsure and pulled in different directions, calm my thinking and let Your word settle the matter. Your word declares that God is faithful, and I trust You to answer this cry for guidance. Even when the road ahead is dark to me, You are with me, O Lord, and that is enough light for the next step. Thank You for shepherding me, for hearing me, and for leading me in Jesus name. Thy will be done. Amen.
