Shared Prayer

O Holy One that answers prayers, as this year closes, we cling to the truth that you will not forsake us. In the long days when we felt small, in the busy evenings when fatigue pressed in, you pressed your faithfulness into our lives. We are your people, chosen and kept by your steadfast love. Help us rest in your presence and walk forward with quiet confidence, even when the way seems uncertain. Meet the weary with your steady care, the discouraged with your steady hands, and the hopeful with your steady promises. May our hearts trust your plan for our families, work, and broken places. In the name of Jesus, may we live today as those held secure by your unwavering faithfulness. The Lord shall fight for you. In Jesus' name Amen
