Shared Prayer

Faithful Father We praise You, for You are good and unchanging, and every work of Your hands is perfect. Scripture gives us confidence that You who began a good work in us will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ. You do not abandon what You start, and You do not grow tired of Your people. So we bring You the unfinished places in our lives, the slow growth, the weariness, and the fear that we will never change. Finish what You have started in us. Where we feel stuck, we believe that with God nothing shall be impossible, and we trust Your hand to keep shaping us until Christ is formed in us. Great is thy faithfulness O Lord, and we rest in it when our own strength fails. Thank You for loving us enough to complete us, and for carrying this work through to the very day our Lord appears. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
