Shared Prayer

Most righteous and eternal Father You are Jehovah Shalom, faithful and gracious, and I worship You as the giver of peace and the guardian of the covenant You established. This prayer for marriage rests on the truth of Matthew 19:6, that husband and wife are no longer two but one flesh, and no person should separate what You have joined. I ask, according to Your Word, that You preserve our unity and bring sincere reconciliation wherever distance, pain, or misunderstanding has entered. Help me forgive from my heart, speak with grace, listen with patience, and walk in obedience to Your will for this marriage. Heal broken trust through truth, repentance, mercy, and faithful conduct, and teach us to protect the bond You have made. I reject every human influence that would divide us, and I choose actions that make peace and honor our covenant. Even while restoration is unfolding, I remember that great is thy faithfulness, and I place my hope in Your promise rather than my fear. Thank You for hearing me, for working toward peace between us, and for giving me courage to pursue forgiveness without bitterness. I believe You are able to restore unity, and I receive Your peace with gratitude. Thy will be done. Amen.
