Shared Prayer

O Lord our God We praise You, for You are near to all who call upon You in truth, and Your mercy is always within reach. Scripture calls us to seek You while You may be found and to call upon You while You are near, so we turn our hearts toward You and refuse to wander in silence. You have promised that those who search for You with all their heart will find You, and we hold onto that word without doubting. Draw near to the lonely, the weary, and the fearful who do not know how to begin praying. Teach us to come quickly, honestly, and often, not waiting until our strength is gone. You are with us, O Lord, and we will not seek You in vain. We rest in the truth that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, so the door of mercy stands open. Thank You for hearing us and for never turning away a seeking heart. Blessed be Your holy name. Amen.
