Shared Prayer

Gracious Father You sit upon the throne, and You speak with authority and mercy, Behold, I make all things new, and Your words are true and faithful. Many of us come before You worn down by repeated battles, ashamed of old sins, or grieving what has been lost, and we need Your renewing hand. Wash our minds with Your truth, soften what has grown hard in us, and give us fresh obedience where we have been stuck. For thou oh Lord are with us, even when our feelings say otherwise, so renew our hope and lift our eyes to Your promise. We refuse despair, and we confess in faith that all things are working together for our good as You remake what has been broken. Thank You for not discarding Your people, and for beginning again with us by Your grace. Let it be to us according to Your word. Amen.
