Shared Prayer

Sovereign Lord of all creation I praise You, Lord of hosts, for You never sleep and never fail, and Your care over my life is perfect. Your word says in Psalm 121:8 that You will preserve my going out and my coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore. So I place every mile of this journey into Your hands and ask You for safety on the road, safety in the air, safety at every stop, and safety until I arrive. Cover me under Your shadow as You promised in Psalm 91, and let no accident, no delay, and no evil intent touch me. Where fear tries to rise in me, I answer it with Your promise, and by the authority of Christ and dominion given, I subdue every anxious thought that says something will go wrong. Every hidden plan of the enemy against my travel, let it be destroyed by fire. Keep me walking in obedience to Your will wherever You send me. Thank You, Father, for going before me and coming behind me. I am not travelling alone, and my heart is at rest because You are with me. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
