Shared Prayer

Lord of hosts You have spoken that in Christ Jesus, those who were far off are made nigh by the blood of Christ. Let that truth silence every lie of shame and rejection that tries to keep believers at a distance from You. For the one who feels unworthy after failure, for the one who has grown cold in prayer, draw them back to simple repentance and bold trust in the blood of Jesus. We renounce self righteousness and despair, and we come to You through the only way You have provided. We declare that the Lord our God is with us, and all power belongeth unto God to cleanse, restore, and hold us close. Thank You for mercy that does not run dry, and for peace that comes from being accepted in Christ. Blessed be the name of the Lord, from this time forth and forevermore. Amen.
