Shared Prayer

O Gracious God You are worthy of my first words and my first thoughts, Almighty God, El Shaddai, the God who is more than enough for me. Before the day begins I come to You, just as Mark 1:35 shows how Jesus rose early and went to a solitary place to pray. I want that same hunger, to seek Your face before I face anything else. Meet me here in the stillness and settle my heart in Your love. Whatever pressure or uncertainty this day holds, I stand on Your promise that with God nothing shall be impossible. I belong to You, and nothing in the day ahead can change who I am in Christ. If God be for us, who can be against us, so I refuse to walk in fear or discouragement. Direct my steps according to Your will and keep me obedient to what You have spoken. I thank You for the hope You have set before me, and for a love that will not let me go. Thank You for hearing me before the world wakes, and for going ahead of me into every hour. Blessed be Your holy name. Amen.
