Shared Prayer

Almighty Father I praise You, God of peace, for You are good and You love the people I call family. Your word says in Colossians 3:15 that the peace of God should rule in our hearts, and that we are called in one body to be thankful. So I bring this prayer for family to You now. Where words have wounded and trust has been broken between us, I ask You to heal what I cannot fix. Let Your peace settle every argument in my home and quiet the tension that has grown between us. I forgive those who have hurt me, and I ask forgiveness for my own part in the distance. Rule our hearts, Lord, and make us one again. For it is written that we are called in one body, so I refuse division and I stand in faith for reconciliation in Jesus name. Teach me to walk in obedience to Your will as a peacemaker under my own roof. Thank You for hearing me, and thank You for the peace You are already working among us. Thy will be done. Amen.
