Shared Prayer

My Lord and My Maker I praise You, my Shepherd, for You are good and Your care over me never fails. Psalm 23 tells me that You make me lie down in green pastures, and that You lead me beside the still waters. It also says that You restore my soul, and that You lead me in the paths of righteousness for Your name's sake. I am worn out, and I have been carrying more than I can hold. So I stop running, and I lie down where You have prepared rest for me. Restore my soul, Almighty God, and lead me where Your will takes me, not where fear or pressure pushes me. Your word declares that with God nothing shall be impossible, so I believe You can renew what feels emptied out in me. I offer this prayer in faith, and I receive Your rest and Your restoration now. All things are possible to them that believeth, and I choose to believe You for a future full of hope. Thank You for loving me with a love that nothing can shake, and for guiding me with such patient kindness. Blessed be the name of the Lord, from this time forth and forevermore. Amen.
