Shared Prayer

O Holy One that answers prayers Your Word declares that You are able to keep us from falling, and to present us faultless before the presence of Your glory with exceeding joy. For believers worn down by temptation, by hidden sin, or by shame from past failures, strengthen our hearts to walk uprightly. Teach our feet to refuse the slippery path, and give us grace to repent quickly and obey fully. When we feel alone and weak, You have spoken, lo, I am with you always, and Your presence drives out fear. We hold to this truth, God is faithful, and You will finish what You begin in us. Thank You for holding us when we would collapse, and for the joy You promise at Your throne. In Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
