Shared Prayer

Our Father We praise You, Lord, for the love that has no beginning and no end. Your word declares that You have loved us with an everlasting love, and that with lovingkindness You have drawn us. That love did not start when we behaved well, and it does not stop when we fail. Draw us again, Father, for hearts grow cold under grief, loneliness, and the weariness of long waiting. We break agreement with every lie that says we are forgotten, rejected, or beyond Your reach. Teach us to rest in the love that first came looking for us. Keep us near to Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith, so that Your kindness leads us to deeper trust and gladness. Thank You for loving us before we knew how to love You, and for holding us when our own grip is weak. We receive Your love, and we will walk in it with confidence and joy. In your mighty and loving name, we pray. Amen.
