Shared Prayer

Abba, Father You are worthy of all praise, and we come before You with grateful hearts, knowing that nothing in this world compares to knowing You. Your word, through the apostle Paul, declares that all things are loss compared to the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus our Lord. We receive that truth. We will not let the things of this world, the pressure to gain, to impress, or to hold on to what fades, pull our hearts away from what truly matters. Where we have placed our confidence in what we can see, forgive us and reorder our hearts. Let knowing You be our greatest pursuit. We are grateful that You are not far from us. Your word assures us that he giveth power to the faint, and we lean on that strength when our own runs dry. In the name of Jesus Christ, we decree that nothing shall move us from the surpassing worth of Christ our Lord. In your mighty and loving name, we pray. Amen.
