Shared Prayer

Faithful Father You are good, and Your mercy over the vulnerable reaches to the ends of the earth. We bring before You the millions displaced, the hungry, the unprotected, and those caught in the grip of violence and conflict. Your word declares that they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid. We stand on that promise. We declare that no force of war, no failure of earthly systems, and no withering of human help can cancel what You have spoken over those who are Yours. Lord, hasten Your word to perform it over every refugee camp, every besieged community, every place where fear has moved in and safety has moved out. We thank You that the Lord our God is with us and with the most forgotten among us, and that Your protection does not depend on what any government or institution can provide. For it is in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
