Shared Prayer

Father of mercies I come to You today worn down by this long illness and the slow progress that has tested my hope. Your Word says I do not have to lose heart, even when my body feels weak, You are renewing me inwardly day by day. Help me fix my eyes on what is unseen and eternal, not on symptoms that keep changing. I cry out to You as one who loves You and belongs to Your purpose, and I trust that You hear me and deliver me from my troubles. In the name of Jesus, I ask You to bring Your healing to my body and restore my mind, make me whole, and lift the weight of this weariness. Guard me when I feel crushed in spirit, and meet me with Your saving help. I choose to believe that all things are working together for my good, even here. Thank You for the renewal You are already giving me, and for the glory that outweighs these troubles. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
