Shared Prayer

Abba, Father We praise You, for You are gracious beyond measure, and Your kindness never fails those who lean on You. Your word tells us that Your grace is sufficient, and that Your strength is made perfect in weakness. We bring You our weakness honestly, the weariness we cannot hide, the fear that presses in, the limits we keep bumping against. We are not ashamed of them, because You have promised that the power of Christ rests upon us there. You are with us, O Lord, and we do not have to pretend we are strong. Let Your grace hold us where our own strength runs out. We ask that Your word be fulfilled in our lives, and Lord hasten your word to perform it in every weary place. We declare that Your grace is enough for us. Thank You for meeting us in our need and for making Your power known through our frailty. For it is in Jesus name we pray. Amen.
