Shared Prayer

Almighty Father You are God Almighty, El Shaddai, more than enough for me, and I praise You for who You are. I bring You this prayer before sleep, and I rest on Your promise in Proverbs 3:24 that when I lie down I will not be afraid, and my sleep will be sweet. You know the worries I have carried through this day, the questions about my future, and the trials that have pressed on me. I lay them down before You now. I am Yours, loved with a love that nothing can break, and Your word declares that all things are working together for my good. So I quiet my heart and choose to trust You. Guard my mind while I sleep, and let no fear rule the hours of the night. Teach me to walk in obedience to Your will, and let hope rise in me again with the morning. Thank You for caring for me so faithfully. Thank You that if God be for me, who can be against me. I lie down in peace, in the name of Jesus, believing You are watching over me. Let it be to me according to Your word. Amen.
