Shared Prayer

Heavenly Father Your Word says we can be troubled on every side, yet not distressed, perplexed, but not in despair. When pressure rises and answers feel far away, keep our minds from panic and our hearts from hopelessness. Teach us to bring our questions to You, and to wait in trust. Strengthen the believer hearing bad news, the parent protecting children, and the caregiver sitting beside pain. We confess that with God nothing shall be impossible, so make a way where we see no way and hold us upright. Work in us, not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord, and cause faith to stand when feelings shake. Thank You for staying with Your people, for breathing courage into weary souls, and for keeping us from despair. We say Hallelujah and Amen.
