Shared Prayer

O Holy One that answers prayers We praise You, for You are merciful and mighty, and healing belongs to You alone. Your word reminds us that the Lord forgives all our iniquities and heals all our diseases, and we hold to both of those promises without wavering. We bring You the sickness in our bodies, the fear that spreads where disease spreads, and the guilt that weighs on our consciences. Forgive us fully, wash away every sin we confess, and restore what illness and sorrow have taken from us. You have promised pardon and healing to Your people, so we ask boldly, believing. Where weakness has made us afraid, we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. Great is thy faithfulness, and we rest our hope there and nowhere else. Thank You for mercy that does not run out, for a love that reaches the suffering, and for Your hand upon the sick and the sorrowing. We say Hallelujah and Amen.
