Shared Prayer

O Lord our God We praise You, for You are the God who gathers Your people and keeps them safe under Your own care. Your word promises that Your flock will no longer be a prey to the nations, and that the beasts of the land will not devour them. You have declared that they will dwell safely, and none will make them afraid. So we bring before You the millions driven from their homes by war and hunger, and every heart that lies down at night afraid. We declare over them the safety You have promised, for You watch over Your own with power and mercy. Break the grip of violence, open doors of return, and turn ruined places into homes again. Give courage to those who feed the hungry and shelter the weak. The Lord our God is with us, so we will not surrender to fear. Thank You for hearing us and for loving the displaced and the frightened with a Shepherd's heart. Let it be to us according to Your word. Amen.
