Shared Prayer

O Lord our God We worship You, for You are merciful and gracious, delighting to pardon those who come to You with honest confession. Your word assures us that if we confess our sins, You are faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. So we hide nothing from You. We bring the failures we are ashamed of, the habits we cannot break on our own, and the guilt that has weighed on us for too long. Wash us clean by the blood of Jesus, and let no accusation hold us any longer, in the name of Jesus Christ. You have promised pardon to the repentant, and we believe You keep Your word. Where we feel too far gone, we remember that with God nothing shall be impossible. Thank You for loving us enough to cleanse us and call us Your own. We receive Your forgiveness with grateful hearts and rise to walk in the freedom You have given. Hallelujah and Amen.
