Shared Prayer

Holy and awesome God You have written Your Word so we might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing we might have life through His name. Where faith has grown weak under pressure, where doubts have multiplied, and where shame has made some feel far away, breathe faith into us again. For it is written, believing brings life, so we turn from unbelief and we set our trust on Jesus with our whole heart. Strengthen those who feel numb in prayer, and those who fear they have failed too much to come near, and let the life You promise rise within them. We ask for a living faith that holds fast to Christ and does not let go. We thank You for giving life through Your Son, and for keeping Your promise to all who believe, in the name of Jesus. Blessed be the name of the Lord, forevermore. Amen.
