Shared Prayer

Mighty and majestic Lord I praise You, Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals, and I honor You as the Lord over every body and every mind. This is a prayer for the sick, and I lift it to You with my whole heart. Your word says in Matthew 8:17 that Jesus Himself took our infirmities and bore our sicknesses, and I stand on that truth now. What He carried, I do not have to carry. So I rebuke this sickness in the name of Jesus, and I refuse to let it settle in my body or wear down my mind. Let Your healing reach the places no one else can see. Restore strength where there is weakness, calm where there is fear, and wholeness where there has been pain. Your will is good, and I ask that Your will be done in me completely. If God be for us, who can be against us, so I will not lose heart while I wait. Thank You, Father, that You hear me, that You care about this suffering, and that Your healing hand is already at work. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
