Shared Prayer

Father of light, in whom there is no darkness Your Word commands us to cast all our care upon You, because You care for us. Many of us are carrying fear about the future, pressure at work, and heavy concern for children, spouses, and aging parents. We bring these loads to You and we release them from our hands. Teach us to stop rehearsing what we cannot control and to trust Your faithful care. We rebuke every tormenting thought that says we are alone or forgotten. Guard our minds and keep our hearts soft and obedient, so nothing blocks our prayers. Thank You for seeing every tear and for holding what we cannot hold. We receive Your peace and we walk forward under Your care, in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord for hearing our cry. Amen.
