Shared Prayer

Blessed Savior We praise You for the love that made a way for us to be brought into Your family. Scripture says that we are all children of God by faith in Christ Jesus, and that truth stands firm no matter how weak or unworthy we feel. You did not make us strangers at a distance, You made us sons and daughters, welcomed and known. When fear tells us we do not belong, and loneliness says that no one claims us, we hold to what You have declared over everyone who believes. Assure us deep within by the Spirit of the living God that we belong to You. Teach us to live as Your children, trusting that our God shall supply all our needs according to his riches in glory. Thank You for the faith that joins us to You, and for the welcome we have in the Father's house. We will walk as children of light, secure in the love that claimed us. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
