Shared Prayer

Abba, Father Your Word says the trial of our faith is more precious than gold, though it be tried with fire, and You will bring it forth unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ. Many of Your people feel pressed by uncertainty, tempted to fear, and weary from long battles that no one sees. Strengthen our faith where it has been shaken. Purge unbelief, bitterness, and secret sin, and teach us to trust You when answers delay. Let great is thy faithfulness become the confession of our mouths when feelings fail. We rest our hearts in this truth, all things work together for good to them that love God, even when the fire is hot. Thank You for holding us, refining us, and keeping our eyes on Jesus until that day. Your name be glorified O Lord. Amen.
