Shared Prayer

Dear God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ You are the One who opens our eyes, turns us from darkness to light, and delivers us from the power of Satan unto God, so we may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance by faith in Jesus. For those who feel trapped in shame, addiction, tormenting thoughts, or deep confusion, shine Your light into the hidden places and break every chain. In Jesus name, we rebuke every work of darkness that resists Your truth and opposes Your mercy. Cleanse us fully, and restore to us the joy of being forgiven. Keep our faith fixed on Christ, and let our lives walk as children of light. We confess before You, great is thy faithfulness, and Your mercy does not fail Your people. Thank You for forgiveness that is real, and for an inheritance that cannot be stolen. With thankful hearts we pray. Amen.
