Shared Prayer

Dear God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ Your Word commands us to be subject one to another and to be clothed with humility, and You promise that You resist the proud but give grace to the humble. We declare that pride will not rule our words, our reactions, or our decisions. Forgive us for self-importance, defensiveness, and the need to be right. Give us the lowly mind of Christ, quick to listen, ready to yield, and eager to honor others. Strengthen the believer facing criticism, the younger one learning submission, and the leader tempted to push through in their own strength. Let Your grace rest on us, teach us to repent without delay, and help us walk in peace with clean hands and a sincere spirit. Lord hasten your word to perform it in our homes, our churches, and our daily conversations. Thank You for grace that lifts and restores. In Jesus' glorious name. Amen.
