Shared Prayer

Father of light, in whom there is no darkness You are worthy of all praise, the source of every good gift and every perfect thing that comes from above. Your Son taught that those who lay down what is dear to them for His name will receive a hundredfold and inherit everlasting life. We hold that promise, Lord. Where hearts have released comfort, belonging, or security to follow You, let no fear or grief go unmet by Your faithfulness. You see every sacrifice made in love for Your name, and Your word declares that nothing given up for You is ever forgotten. We declare that we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us, even in seasons of loss, uncertainty, or aching longing. For it is written that he giveth power to the faint, and we receive that power in faith. Thank You, Father, that surrender to You is never a dead end. You repay with abundance no hand can measure and with life that has no end. Let it be to us according to Your word. Amen.
