God of heaven
I praise You, Jehovah Elohim, the God who made all things and who rules over every season of my life. You are merciful and full of tender compassion, and I worship You for that. Your word in James 5:11 says we count them happy which endure, and it points me to the patience of Job and to what You finally brought about for him. So I ask You for patience while I wait for Your hand to move. Teach me to hold on without complaining, to trust Your timing, and to keep believing when nothing seems to change. Where I have grown restless, forgive me and settle my heart. I want Your will more than a quick answer, so I submit my plans and my waiting to You. I declare and decree that my endurance is not wasted, and that Your intervention and breakthrough will come at the right time, in the name of Jesus. Thank You for being very pitiful and of tender mercy toward me. Thank You that You see every day I have waited, and You have never once forgotten me.
In Jesus' name. Amen
