Shared Prayer

Lord of hosts, we step into this new year with a single asks: that Your presence go with us as we seek You each day. When our schedules feel crowded, remind us that You are near. For the overwhelmed parent, the exhausted worker, the lonely traveler, and the hopeful dreamer, let Your steady companionship calm our nerves and steady our plans. May we choose You in small moments—a pause before words, a listening ear, a humble step of faith—trusting that You will be found as we seek. We don’t need perfection to feel Your nearness; we need honesty and a heart turned toward You. Remind us that You are with us, and that guides us forward with courage. The Lord is with you, while ye be with him. The Lord shall fight for you. Blessed be the name of the Lord, from this time forth and forevermore. Amen.
