Shared Prayer

Righteous Lord You are merciful and holy, rich in compassion, and Your heart is to pardon and restore. Great is thy faithfulness O Lord, and Your mercy does not turn away from us when we come to You. Forgive the sins that trouble the conscience, break the grip of iniquity, and silence the shame that keeps many bowed down. For it is written, You will have compassion upon us, You will subdue our iniquities, and You will cast our sins into the depths of the sea. Bring us into agreement with Your will, and teach us to walk in repentance and obedience. We receive Your mercy, and we believe that guilt will not rule where Your grace has spoken. Thank You for not dealing with us according to our failure, but for cleansing, restoring, and giving peace. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
