Shared Prayer

God of glory I praise You, God Almighty, for You are good and Your mercy holds me even when everything around me feels uncertain. This is the day which You have made, and I choose to rejoice and be glad in it, just as Psalm 118:24 declares. Not because everything is easy, but because You are my God, and I belong to You. I bring You my worry about what is ahead, and the weariness that comes from waiting and pressing on. I ask You to lift my heart and fill me with real hope for the future. Your word declares that with God nothing shall be impossible, so I will not measure my future by what I can see. If God be for us, who can be against us, and I stand on that today. Teach me to walk in obedience to Your will, content to trust the hands that made this day. Thank You for loving me with a love that cannot be shaken, and for meeting me here with joy that my circumstances did not give and cannot take away. I receive Your strength for this day in Jesus name. Now to Him who is able to do far more than we ask or think. Amen.
