Shared Prayer

Almighty Father I praise You, Jehovah Shalom, for You are the God of peace who binds hearts together and restores what has been strained. I bring this prayer for my husband before You, trusting Your love more than my own understanding. Your word says that husbands are to love their wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it, and I ask You to work that same self-giving love in him according to Ephesians 5:25. Where trust has been wounded between us, heal it. Where words have hurt, bring forgiveness that truly clears the air. Where distance has grown, draw us back into unity as one flesh. Bless my husband with peace at home, patience with our family, honesty in his friendships, and favor in his work and among those around him. Guard his heart from bitterness, and give me a gentle spirit toward him. Your will is peace in this house, and I choose to walk in obedience to it. For it is written, You are able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think. I thank You now for the reconciliation You are already working in us, in Jesus name. Thy will be done. Amen.
