Shared Prayer

Dear heavenly Father You are worthy of all praise, and we come before You with grateful hearts for the promise sealed in Your Son. Jesus taught us that our sorrow is not the final word. He said, Your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. We hold that truth without wavering. Where grief has pressed in and hope has grown faint, we stand on what You have spoken. We decree that the joy You have given through Jesus Christ cannot be stolen, stripped, or silenced by any circumstance, any loss, or any voice of the enemy. We receive that joy by faith, not as a feeling we manufacture, but as a gift You secured and no one can take away. According to Your Word, the rejoicing You have promised us is permanent and unshakeable. We are grateful, Lord, truly grateful, that our joy rests in You and not in the shifting things of this world. Father, glorify thy name. Amen.
