Shared Prayer

God of all grace We praise You, for You are the God who guards Your own, and no power in heaven or on earth is greater than Your hand. Jesus said that the Father who gave us to Him is greater than all, and that no one is able to pluck us out of Your hand. So we rest in that promise for people living under bombardment, for those who carry food and medicine into dangerous places, and for families driven from their homes with nothing left but You. We ask You to shelter them, hold them fast, and let no threat, no weapon, and no cruelty separate them from Your keeping. In the name of Jesus Christ we ask for safe passage for aid, mercy for the hungry, and courage for the fearful, for with God nothing shall be impossible. Thank You for the security of Your grip, stronger than every enemy and every loss we grieve. We will rejoice in the Lord always. Amen.
