Shared Prayer

O Gracious God You are holy, merciful, and ready to receive all who turn to You. Jesus said there is joy in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, and that promise shows us Your heart is full of mercy. Draw us away from sin, pride, and hidden compromise, and teach us to come before You with truth. Where shame has kept hearts silent and distant from You, we declare that Your mercy is greater than our failure. Break the power of stubbornness, soften every resisting will, and bring true turning back to You, not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord. Thank You that You do not despise repentance, but welcome it with joy. Thank You for forgiveness, cleansing, and the hope of restored fellowship with You. With thankful hearts we pray. Amen.
