Shared Prayer

Gracious Father You call Your people greatly beloved, and You speak over us, fear not, peace be unto thee, be strong, yea be strong. Let that word silence every trembling thought in hearts shaken by reports of war, loss, and cruelty. For the one who feels overwhelmed caring for children, aging parents, or neighbors in danger, breathe Your peace into body and mind. We receive courage that rises from Your voice, not from our own strength. For thou oh Lord are with us, and we refuse the grip of fear. With God nothing shall be impossible, so renew weary faith and strengthen weak hands to endure with love. Thank You for speaking peace that does not fail, and for holding us as Your beloved.
