Shared Prayer

Dear heavenly Father You are worthy of all honor and praise, the Lord of all creation who sees and knows every one of us. Your word declares that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and that we are not our own. We belong to You, purchased by the blood of Jesus. Forgive us for every time we have treated what is Yours carelessly, living as though Your Spirit does not dwell within us. We yield our bodies, our minds, and our choices back to You. Help us to walk in a way that glorifies You, keeping what You have made holy. Where we have been careless, restore in us a fresh reverence for Your presence. Jesus Christ the same yesterday, today, and forever, and so Your standard for our lives never changes. We trust that You are with us, O Lord, giving us strength to honor You in all that we do. Thank You for making us Your own. In the name of Jesus. Amen.
