Shared Prayer

Lord of hosts You are holy and good, and great is thy faithfulness through every generation. For it is written, we love You because You first loved us. Break the lie that we are forgotten, unwanted, or too far gone for mercy. Where hearts feel guarded by pain, pour in the assurance of Your love. Where guilt and failure have made us draw back, bring us near again through Jesus Christ. Teach us to answer Your love with trust, obedience, and love for others. We declare that Your love is stronger than fear, and Your mercy is greater than our weakness. Keep us from coldness, bitterness, and unbelief, and form in us the life that pleases You. Thank You for loving us first, for not turning away, and for holding us in faithful hands. In the mighty and matchless name of Jesus. Amen.
