Shared Prayer

Dear heavenly Father We praise You as the generous God who never withholds good from Your children. Jesus said that if we, being evil, know how to give good gifts to our children, how much more will You, our Father in heaven, give good things to those who ask You. So we come asking, not with fear, but with confidence in Your kindness. Where there is lack, we ask You for provision. Where there is weariness, we ask You for strength. Where there is uncertainty, we ask You for wisdom. You have promised good things to those who ask, and You cannot lie. We believe You hear us, and we rest in knowing that all things work together for good to them that love God. You are with us, O Lord, and we are not forgotten. Thank You for every mercy already given, and for the answers still on the way. Our hearts are full because You are good. Amen, and Amen.
