Shared Prayer

God of truth I praise You, Almighty God, for You are strong and faithful, and nothing in my life is too hard for You. Psalm 118 tells me that the Lord is on my side, so I will not fear, for what can man do to me. I hold onto that promise now, because Your love toward me does not fail and does not change. Where I have been anxious about what lies ahead, I choose to trust You. Where trials have pressed on me, I ask for courage to keep walking in obedience to Your will, without shrinking back. Your word declares that the Lord my God is with me, and that settles the matter in my heart. Psalm 118:24 says this is the day the Lord has made, and I will rejoice and be glad in it. So I will not spend it in dread. If God be for us, who can be against us, and I stand on that with confidence. Thank You for holding my future, for guarding my life, and for loving me with a love that cannot be shaken. I say it in the name of Jesus. Blessed be the name of the Lord, forevermore. Amen.
