Shared Prayer

O Lord our God You are the God who speaks and performs. You are the God who breathes life where there is no life and restores what seemed beyond all hope. Your word in Ezekiel declares that You will put Your Spirit in Your people and they shall live, and You shall place them in their own land, and they shall know that You the Lord have spoken it and performed it. We receive that promise by faith. Where there is spiritual dryness, depression, or displacement in our lives, breathe on us again. Revive what has grown cold. Restore what has been scattered. Not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord. We stand on that truth. Great is thy faithfulness O Lord. You do not promise what You cannot perform. Every word You have spoken over our lives will come to pass. We are grateful that Your Spirit is our life, our strength, and our certainty. Blessed be the name of the Lord, from this time forth and forevermore. Amen.
