Shared Prayer

Holy Father, who hears and answers prayers Your Word calls us to live so that we sin not, yet You also declare that when any of us sins, we have an Advocate with You, Jesus Christ the righteous. For those who feel ashamed after failing, for believers worn down by temptation, for anyone who feels far from You, lift the weight of guilt and turn our hearts back to humble obedience. Let repentance be sincere, and let forgiveness be received without doubt, because Jesus pleads our cause before You. Let the word of God is quick and powerful search us and cleanse us, and keep us from returning to what grieves You. Strengthen our faith to rise again and walk in purity, for we are more than conquerors through him that loves us. Thank You for mercy that restores and grace that teaches us to obey. With thankful hearts we pray. Amen.
