Shared Prayer

Gracious Father We praise You, for You are the God who draws the outsider near and makes room in Your own house. We honor You for the love that brought us close through the blood of Jesus, when we had no claim and no standing of our own. It is written that we are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the saints and members of Your household. You have declared this over Your people, and we receive it as our true identity. Where loneliness presses in, and where we feel unwanted or overlooked, hold us fast in the family You have formed by grace. Lift the fear of not belonging from us, for God is faithful, and He does not turn away those who come to Him. Teach us to welcome one another without pride and without partiality. Thank You for a home that cannot be taken from us, and for naming us Your own children. In your mighty and loving name, we pray. Amen.
