Shared Prayer

Lord of the everlasting covenant I praise You, for You are my protector and my banner, and Your covering never fails, even when my own strength does. I admit that I feel spiritually weak and far from You. My prayers feel thin, my heart feels dull, and I have let distance grow. Yet Your word says You will command Your angels concerning me to guard me in all my ways, and that no weapon forged against me will prevail. That promise does not rest on how strong I feel. It rests on You. So I rebuke every stronghold of discouragement and every accusing voice that tells me I am cut off from You. Every scheme set against my walk with You, scatter now, in the name of the Lord. Draw me back close, revive my hunger for Your word, and teach me to walk in obedience to Your will again. Thank You for guarding me even while I felt weak. Thank You that vindication belongs to Your servants, and that You have not let go of me. I trust You, and I am not afraid. For Yours, oh Lord, is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.
