Shared Prayer

Holy One It is written, by Your mercies You call us to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto You. We bring You our hands and eyes, our mouths and thoughts, our time and strength, and we yield them to Your will. For those pulled by temptation, for those worn by duty, for those ashamed of failure, cleanse us and make us willing to obey. Teach us to say no to sin and yes to righteousness, not in our own strength, but in Your grace. You are the author and finisher of our faith, so finish in us what You have begun, and let our ordinary choices become reasonable service that honors You. Thank You for mercy that does not cast us off, and for love that receives our surrender. The grace of the Lord Jesus be with us all. Amen.
